Project Good Mama has jumped off to a fantastic start! Maybe some sites are able to get 1000's of followers in a short amount of time but we are just as happy with our small, yet significant, growth that has occurred in just a few days.
That said, this movement will not move far without your help.
The following volunteer positions have been created in an effort to grow and sustain our community.

The following are some general guidelines and requirements for those that volunteer...
In general, volunteers must:
- Be a mom
- Be generally positive about life
- Embrace that we are all imperfect
- Express themselves openly and vulnerably
- Be kind, respectful and professional in their interactions with others
- We want to create a space for women to feel uplifted, validated and free from shame.
- Strive to make PGM a community; inviting participation from guests. We really want to promote guest content. If any guest contributions are received over any platform and used, it is important to reference that guest. "Contributed by Sidreis @iamsidreis" type attribution. The more people see that they are included and valued, the more they will contribute.
- We strive to not create or link any material that is comparison based for comparison pits us against one another; creating dark clouds of shame.
- WE WANT YOUR VOICE! If you are selected for a position, it is not to just do the job at hand. It is to grow that position. Be creative. Come up with ideas. We will likely have Skype/Facetime/Voxer sessions to talk about your ideas.
- That said - VOXER IS REQUIRED for all positions. You must have the VOXER app and be able to list your ID when applying for any and all positions. It is a free walkie/talkie app that accommodates voice communication, much like text. Much of our communication will take place over Voxer.

EXECUTIVE TEAM
Position: Associate Director
Description: The Associate Director will work directly with the Executive Director in making day to day decisions for Project Good Mama as a whole. Good communication and positive outlook is a must.
Requirements:
- Must have a positive, yet real life, outlook that will help volunteers feel connected, validated and part of this great team.
- Must practice active listening skills when communicating with volunteers.
- This position requires that the volunteer have and be familiar with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Blogger and Pinterest.
- This position requires good communication skills, whether over Voxer, email, or any other form of communication. In this instance, 'good' means simply communicating. Have an idea? Great! Let us know what it is, how you plan to implement it and what the end game is. Where do you see the idea taking us?
- This position will likely require a couple of hours a week. For now, we would like to see new content (in the form of creating new boards and adding content to those boards) at least twice a week.

Position: Facebook Content Manager/Creator
Description: Eventually, the Content Manager and Content Creator positions will be separate, but as this is the very beginning, these positions will start combined. The Facebook page content manager/creator will spend time surfing the internet looking for content to link on our Facebook page. This can include articles from other mommy sites. Funny stories. Videos that are conducive to our vision etc. If you do find content, it is important to not forward the link to our page but copy and paste it. We want to keep Project Good Mama looking aesthetically clean as possible. It can get quite cluttered with forwards. It is important to include content that is conducive to the purpose and vision of Project Good Mama. Positive, yet real life, content that will help readers feel connected, validated and shame free. Content that says 'you're not alone', we hear you'. We also love funny (yet clean) stuff. The content manager portion of the position requires management of the content, which includes gathering guest suggestions from others (can be in the form of creating call to actions and inviting followers to message the page with content) and any other ideas that you come up with. It might include:
- Ideas on how to reach a wider audience.
- Encouraging followers to link the page.
- Ideas for Tabs on the site
- Looking for other pages to follow
Additionally, this position requires responding to facebook messages. We REALLY want to respond quickly to our readers, so this position requires the facebook/messenger App to be on your phone so messages can be answered in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- This position requires that the volunteer have facebook and be familiar with facebook page management.
- This position requires good communication skills, whether over Voxer, email, or any other form of communication. In this instance, 'good' means simply communicating. Have an idea? Great! Let us know what it is, how you plan to implement it and what the end game is. Where do you see the idea taking us?
- This position will likely require a couple of hours a week. For now, we would like to see new content (in the form of linking articles on the site) at least twice a week.

This can include mommy memes from image searches, or posting a picture with thoughts following it (whether written by you or a guest). If you do find content, it is important to copy the meme and repost it clean. We want to keep Project Good Mama looking aesthetically clean as possible. It can get quite cluttered with forwards. Also - it is helpful to have some of your own meme-creator apps (there are many) so that you can create PGM content directly. It is important to include content that is conducive to the purpose and vision of Project Good Mama. Positive, yet real life, content that will help readers feel connected, validated and shame free. Content that says 'you're not alone', 'we hear you'. We also love funny (yet clean) stuff. Whatever you do post, it is important to always use the @projectgoodmama and #projectgoodmama tags as much as possible. This helps get our name out there.

- Ideas on how to network with other bloggers/organizations.
- Links we can post on our site.
- Ideas for Tabs on the site
Requirements:
- This position requires that the volunteer be familiar with blogger, have a gmail account so that access to the blog can be accessed etc.
- This position requires good communication skills, whether over Voxer, email, or any other form of communication. In this instance, 'good' means simply communicating. Have an idea? Great! Let us know what it is, how you plan to implement it and what the end game is. Where do you see the idea taking us?
- It is the responsibility of the Blogger Content Manager/Creator to send the Facebook Page Content Manager/Creator links to newly published posts so they can link them on the Facebook page.
- This position will likely require a couple of hours a week. For now, we would like to see new content (in the form a blog post) on the blog at least once a week, whether written by you or by a guest.
